Stupid shipping process

i'm totally pissed off at this eBay seller, as well as the stupid person who came up with this UPS Mail Innovations center. this is all crap and a waste of time and resources.

so i ordered two small items from this eBay seller who does combine shipping - remind me to NEVER do that ever again! the reason they can mail your other items cheaper is because they use the slowass method. so i bought the items on 1/29, and i got an email saying that it's been shipped out on 1/31. fine, the seller is in LA, and the most it takes shouldn't be more than 2-3 days! WRONG! i would rather he didn't give me any type of tracking for my package than what he's doing now. so our beloved federal post office don't offer tracking on regular mail item unless u paid for tracking/express. and this smartass eBay seller decided to go with UPS Mail Innovations center to mail a package through USPS (united states postal service, our federal post service)... so that i'll be able to track the package. so for a regular mail item that usually takes about 2-3 days mailing time in USPS, now it'll be 7-10 days or more coz it has to first go thru this UPS MI thing, then it'll be enrouted to the local USPS office for final delivery. here's what i got from the web, and today is 2/5 and nothing has happened yet!

wtf it's doing at the UPS MI RPF in Union City for so damn long! it's literally 20 minutes away from my work or home, and i'm almost going to find that damn facility and get my package rather than waiting for it to be delivered. i hate buying stuff online and not getting it within a week, unless i've been told that it's going to be a week or more (like the slowass UPS ground shipping from east coast).

this is ridiculous. at first i thought that it'll be delivered to me directly from this UPS MI center in Union City, but i'm totally wrong! after my search online (and seeing a bunch of ppl complained about it), i realized that it still needs to get picked up by USPS and delivered to me. that would easily be another 3 days at least.

so after i found out about it, i'm so pissed at why my package got stucked at this facility, and i called the customer service line at UPS MI. first i tried the options for "tracking your package status", and i got a message saying that they are currently unable to handle the call load of ppl requesting that info, so direct me back online. i'm thinking, if they r good at getting ppl their package on time, i don't think they will be getting that MANY PPL CALLING!! if i got my package last week, or even today, i wouldn't be calling them, stupid ass...

so i got hung up after that message, and of course i won't just gave up like that. i called again and this time i didn't choose the tracking option, instead i just wait for it to connect to a CSR. the guy is an idiot and knows nothing other than the info i got online. i don't usually do this, but i actually get so pissed off at this guy that i just vent for like few minutes in a roll about all this stupid arrangements.

the CSR guy first told me that it usually takes 2-3 biz days for USPS to pick up, and i said why? shouldn't USPS be picking up EVERY GOD DAMN DAY from their facilities?! then he told me that it is still waiting for postage, and so i asked again, isn't that the postage have been fully paid when u guys PICKED UP FROM THE SELLER! how can u guys go pick up an item when the seller didn't pay for the full fee? i wouldn't do business like that for sure! then the guy knows that he said it wrong, and he's like since this item is sent in bulk mail rate, it'll take longer than usual coz it's not first class. that's the only thing that makes sense as the seller probably go cheap and have a bulk rate deal with USPS and UPS MI. but still, this is just totally bullshit.

now the only thing i can do is to wait! waiting for my stupid package to come. and god knows how many more places it's gonna enroute to before it'll be delivered to my office. damn it, and the stupid thing is that it's only 20 minutes away from me...

i'm definitely absolultely going to leave a negative feedback to this seller, at most it's going to be neutral if i got it by 2/7 (fat chance!). shipping time is unacceptable, or at least it wasn't stated clearly in the auction and no choice for customer to choose. i would prefer to go with no tracking but faster delivery time.
